What is it
Our microneedling treatment uses the SkinPen, a device with fine needles that create microscopic punctures in the skin. These controlled injuries trigger healing, improving acne scars, pore size, stretch marks, fine lines, wrinkles, texture, and firmness.
What to Expect
After microneedling, your body immediately begins healing and boosting collagen in the treated areas. Downtime is minimal—usually just 24 hours of mild redness. Most clients report little to no discomfort, as a topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, leaving only a sensation of light vibrations.
After Care
There is very minimal downtime with microneedling. You’ll want to avoid makeup immediately after treatment and the following day. Refrain from strenuous exercise for first 24 hours.

How Long Does Microneedling Last?
Microneedling results typically last between three and five months, but results can vary depending on your age, the amount of initial skin damage and your skincare goals. We recommend 4-6 treatments to reach your goals, then 2-3 treatments per year for maintenance.
How Long After Microneedling Can I Wear Makeup?
Proper aftercare helps maximize your results. Wait at least 48 hours before applying makeup, as many products contain irritants that can delay healing. Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and a Vitamin C serum to support recovery.
Avoid touching your face for the first day to limit bacteria exposure, and stay out of direct sunlight for two weeks. Apply a daily mineral sunscreen (SPF 50+) to protect your skin and prevent irritation. At your appointment, our providers will recommend the best products for your skin’s needs.

Does Microneedling Hurt?
A strong numbing cream is applied before treatment, so most patients feel little to no discomfort. Afterward, you may notice redness, minor bruising, or irritation. We provide a light cream for the first 24 hours; after 5 days you can resume your normal skincare routine. Apply mineral sunscreen starting at 24 hours to protect healing skin.
Microneedling improves sunspots, acne scars, and stretch marks. Treatments should be spaced at least 4 weeks apart to allow proper healing. You may also combine microneedling with fillers or toxins in the same visit for enhanced results.
How Many Microneedling Sessions For Acne Scars Should You Have?
Several microneedling sessions may be required to get optimal results. The exact number of sessions will depend on the severity of your skin condition, and the frequency of treatments.
